FAQ
- How do I sign in?
- FactLockCam uses passwordless email OTP. Enter your email in the app, then paste the one-time code from your inbox. No password is stored on our servers.
- Can FactLockCam recover my encrypted files?
- No. FactLockCam is non-custodial. Encryption keys live on your device. We cannot reset access or decrypt your archive.
- How does Send Proof work?
- From an archive item, tap Send Proof, set a one-time password, and share the certificate PDF plus courier URL through the iOS share sheet. Recipients unlock media in a browser at the link you send.
- What data leaves my device?
- Only SHA-256 hashes and optional ledger metadata you explicitly sync. Original media bytes stay encrypted locally unless you export or send proof.
- How do I delete my account?
- Open Account & Settings in the app, choose Burn Account, and confirm twice. This calls the perform_full_burn RPC and removes your profile-linked cloud data.
